You can keep going
Even when the going gets rough, you can keep going. After all, you’ve been doing it all your life.A disappointing result will stop you only if you assume that it is supposed to stop you. However, you can just as easily assume that all your results are prompting you to keep going.
After all, when you’re getting results of any kind, you’re making a difference. If the results are not to your liking, you can fine-tune your efforts and greatly improve those results.
Many things are simply not going to happen with just one, or three, or even a dozen attempts. Yet anything becomes possible with enough persistence.
Keep going, and allow your efforts to build upon one another. Keep going, and transform the disappointments into achievements.
You have what it takes to keep going, because all it ever takes is just one more step forward. Keep going, and work your way steadily to the richest rewards you can imagine.

The Power of Negative
Thinking
Let’s be honest about it. Life is scary. I know,
you’re supposed to be a grown up and you’re not supposed to be afraid of
anything. But at 3 in the morning, when you’re laying awake, unable to
sleep because you’re worrying about where you’re going to get the money
for the house payment, life can be frightening.
And
sometimes, it can be very useful to admit that. Most of the time, we
keep a “stiff upper lip.” We try to maintain a positive attitude, to
think that things will always get better. And there is much value in
that. But there come times when you just need to deal with all the
nagging little negative thoughts that build up as a result of your
attempt to be positive all the time.
You know you have
doubts all the time. You’re often afraid to admit them even to yourself,
but they’re there. They eat away at you because you never let them out.
Actually, negative feelings are healthy. They temper your enthusiasm
with a dose of reality, and remind you that there are risks in
everything you do. They help you remember to be careful. But if they
build up inside of you, and are never dealt with, then they can
immobilize you.
So every now and then, when you’re feeling
particularly blue, it’s time to have an out-an-out bitching and moaning
session. And if you raise such an event to the status of a ritual, that
is, if you intentionally decide to do it, it can be very productive and
beneficial to you.
Give it a try. Sit down and think
about one of the problems in your life. Really dwell on it. Think of all
the reasons why it makes your hopes and dreams and goals impossible to
accomplish. In your mind, let your problem put a negative slant on every
aspect of your life. Then, start having some fun with it. Start with a
little exaggeration. Add some melodrama, and maybe a little obscenity.
Say to yourself something like, “The truth is, I can’t stand your little
business venture. I hate you for even thinking of it. I thought things
were fine just the way they were. I’m really too lazy to bother with all
of it. I think I’ll just eat a lot of chocolate and get
fat."
You get the idea. Really revel in your misery to the
point where it becomes funny. And you’ll notice that your energy level
starts to go up. Because negativity is energy, and it can get you moving
when you let it come out. Have you ever seen a healthy two year old who
lacks energy? Of course not. Because two year olds know something that
we have forgotten -- the value of a good tantrum.
If you
keep your doubts and negative feelings bottled up inside, they
eventually gain control of you. But letting them out in a good tantrum
puts you back in the driver’s seat. Acknowledging your problems and your
doubts gives you control over them. Getting furious about them will give
you the energy you need to overcome them.
So every now and
then, think negative. It could have a very positive influence on your
life.

A little bit different
You are always achieving something, one thing or another. You are always getting results of some kind.
You are always achieving something, one thing or another. You are always getting results of some kind.
Getting the results you most passionately and
authentically desire is not a matter of making more effort. It is,
rather, a matter of making different efforts and consistently
keeping those efforts focused.
Focus is a choice you make in every waking moment.
You are always focused on one thing or another.
The way to maintain your focus long enough to get
the results you seek, is by reminding yourself why. Be clear about
why you want those results, and find a way to keep those reasons
close at hand.
The success you seek is not particularly
difficult. It’s just a little bit different than what you’re doing
now.
Be clear about why, keep your thoughts and efforts
focused, and your life will proceed in the direction of your
dreams.

Get over it
If
you’ve gotten off to a slow start, now is your opportunity to
speed up. If you’ve been disappointed by the results so far, now
is the chance to make some effective positive
changes.
Negative momentum can be powerful. Yet the
moment you commit yourself to a positive perspective, that
negative momentum is gone.
Stop worrying and
complaining about the fact that your day, your week, your month or
your life has gotten off to a bad start. Use this moment right now
to interrupt the pattern and point yourself in a positive,
empowered, fulfilling direction.
Your past has
brought you where you are, and yet it does not dictate where you
can now go. Make the choice to point all of your life in the
direction of your dreams.
Even though you may have
experienced great difficulty in getting started, choose now to be
thankful for those difficulties you’ve gone through. Be thankful
for the strength they’ve enabled you to build, and make positive
use of that strength going forward.
This time, this
moment is different, because now you’re in complete control, and
determined to make it great. So no matter what may have happened,
get over it, and get going toward the best you can
imagine.

Renew Your Spirit and Energy
by Jane
Powell
“It’s time for something new.”
Remember your first day of school or the first time you rode a bike? Or how about the excitement of your first kiss?
The older we get, it seems those “firsts” are fewer and further between. When’s the last time you started something new, or tried something for the very first time?
Life gets busy, and we can get so wrapped up in our day-to-day lives that starting something new can seem like an undeserved indulgence. But it shouldn’t be!
Starting a new project, trying something you’ve always wanted to, or revisiting an old activity you used to love doing is a great way to renew your spirit and energy. If there’s something you’ve been thinking of doing, but not getting around to – make at least one step toward it today. You deserve something “new” in your life every once in a while.

Get What You Want NOW!
by Jane Powell
by Jane Powell
“Concentrate on what you want.”
When you think about what you don’t want to
happen, it happens! Concentrating on what you fear and obsessing
about negative outcomes has a way of manifesting disastrous images
in your head. These images are very powerful and often turn into
reality.
Instead, create pictures in your mind of what you
want. Imagine the best possible outcome. Take a minute or two to
do this every day.
When you focus your energy toward things you
really want, rather than toward what you don’t want, the universe
will respond and deliver. Try it. It’s an amazing phenomenon that
nurtures your desires!
